❄️ As we move toward these longer nights, we can turn toward the wisdom of the darkness and the unseen realms. With that, we invite you to join us following the winter solstice for a gathering to honor an ancestor by having tea (or another non-alcoholic beverage) in their honor and calling them into community.
🪹In this 1.5 hour gathering via zoom, with Gavrila and Pamela as your guides, we will call upon an ancestor whom we want to honor, sip a warm beverage with them, and move through an expressive arts exercise to connect to and remember them.
🕯️Jewish tradition says when a person dies: May their memory be a blessing. On this evening, we invite those of all faiths and cultures to receive and remember the blessings of the memory of one of your ancestors. Please feel free to spread the word to anyone who might benefit from this offering.
Register for the evening here: bit.ly/Teawithancestors
Zoom link to join sent upon registration.
Cost to attend: $36
No one turned away for lack of funds.
ABOUT YOUR GUIDES:
Gavrila Nikhila (she/her): Somatic Practitioner | Meditation Teacher | Contemplative Dreamer
Having the great benefit of working with folks of all ages, identities, and ancestry, Gavrila knows that embodiment and self-exploration are accessible to all and is devoted to finding the entry point for each unique person. Guided by the cultivation of awareness, the unfolding of ancestral wisdom, and the honoring of innate wholeness, Gavrila collaborates with those seeking transformation as a mindfulness educator and somatically oriented practitioner. Based in California, Gavrila identifies as a queer, Ashkenazi Jewess.
Pamela Lozoff (she/her): Somatic Practitioner | Writer | Guide
Pam is deeply shaped by her lived experience as a Jewish and Queer woman who is neurodivergent, and by a desire to share in the journey into our inner landscapes and embodied wisdom. She has woven movement, nature-based practices, writing, and therapy (as both client and trained therapist) as her navigational tools. From the place of being guided by many teachers and practitioners, she aims to support folks in moving through trauma and holding patterns to claim the fullest expression of ourselves within our lived experience. Ultimately, her shared vision with others on the path is one of personal and collective liberation. http://www.embodiedwaywithpam.com
